A fine shave was enjoyed by yours truly tonight. The lather was dense and slippery, the razor and blade combo was sharp and smooth and E45 followed by Lidl EDP (dupe of something or other) left my face feeling and smelling great ready for Strictly!

It’s been a horrible, grey, dreich day today, we didn’t need any shopping, didn’t need to see anyone and didn’t fancy going out in the drizzle. So we had a slipper day - we drank coffee, munched biscuits, listened to the radio, watched television, read and whinged about the weather. We felt like proper pensioners, except that we had the heating on!

The x bolt is a good copy of Hugo Boss's Boss Bottled, a fragrance I remember fondly from nights out in my late teens

Prep: Warm shower:/Bulldog Peppermint & Eucalyptus Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Sagrada Familia Synthetic.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Kent Luxury Shaving Soap.
Blade: Personna PTFE SS Injector. (D1)
Razor: Parker InjRzr. (Setting 4)

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./ Cold Water Face Rinse./ Herbs of Bulgaria ASL./ Cien Sensitive ASB.

Relaxing autumn equinox Sunday morning shave.

Another close comfortable shave with the Parker InjRzr, which isn't the most assertive of my injector razors, but it always provides a comfortable close shave. Today was no exception.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Sensitive ASB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

The Morning Shave.
The Sharp Jaws blade was in my 1961 Gillette FatBoy today.
3rd use on the Jaws blade, these blades come double wrapped.

Very nice daily shave, comfortable with no weepers or irritation.
I use the Badger brush once per week, to allow it to dry thoroughly.
I usually use it with Proraso, so its beginning to keep a little scent in the brush, of the Wood & Spice and Sandalwood.

I was watching a recent upload of Chuck’s Shaving Channel; he covered his hometown.
Particularly interesting to see the history of Petticoat Junction Amusement Park.
Chuck has a lost a lot of his channel Subscribers due to a YouTube problem.

A very nice 2 Pass shave today (still at the kitchen sink, tiling starts tomorrow). The RSW is a really comfortable razor to use and it seems to like the proline blade, smooth as glass this morning.

The Chubby 2 may appear to have a black handle in my photo but actually it is a very fetching sapphire and today it was used to produce a very nice lather with my Eucris cream. Two easy passes with the Fatboy and a liberal application of Eucris skin food and I was ready for the (wet) day ahead :).
