Brush: M7 Manchurian
Soap: P&B Spitfire
Razor: WR3 OC 0.50
Blade: GEM PTFE
Post: P&B Spitfire AS & Solid Cologne

Swift switch up from the intended straight this morning to the WR3. The Mrs was heading into the office which cuts down the bathroom time on my part by quite a margin. Not to worry, still a cracking shave with a brilliant finish and a wonderful scent.

Hope everyone has a good'un.

Cheers

Marc

Thursday 29 February
Any fella had a marriage proposal today then? No thought not.
So, among the few pleasures in life is the wet shave and I share @Palmolive fox recent sentiments completely. Years of boring cartridge shaves but then needs must and usually an early start for work called for speed those distant days past.
So, today a leisurely no rush shave.
Rockwell 6S on plate 5
Astra blade x3
Edwin Jagger Aloa Vera soap
Vintage no name synthetic reknot
Tabac balm

2 passes plus pick ups for bbs finish. Now looking out at this incessant rain. Still not impressed with EJ soap, very bland and no real scent.
So, do I get my sou’wester and boots on for a walk? Nah! Time for :coffee:

Have a good day fellas!

Leap year freebie for fat February…

Razor- Rockwell 6S (R3)
Blade- Personna platinum - 4th shave (forgot to include in photo)
Brush- Simpson Captain synthetic
Soap- MWF

Back onto plate R3 for the Rockwell. That is definitely the one that works for me. It’ll be hard not to use MWF… it’s a firm favourite with me… but I fancy some Cella next time.

Final Fat February shave.
My Shave today consisted of..

Prep Proraso preshave balm.
Brush Highlander LE2023 Badger.
Soap Mitchell's Wool Fat tallow.
Razors Eveready 1912.
Blade Gem.
Aftershave Extro (Brute dupe).
I can't believe just how fast Fat February has flown past, so today I wanted to finish it with the classic original MWF and a classic razor to do it justice.
An excellent 2 pass shave with my skin now feeling softer than a eunuchs groin at an orgy.

So long Fat February it's been a blast and enjoy your day everyone.

Final Shave of Fat February and it’s another cracker with the spitfire soap.
It has been a great month using all these lanolin enriched soaps and also to see MWF is back to it’s former glory.

A glorious shave today!
Third shave with the Durasharp blade and I switched from my trusty Fatboy to the Pearl Flexi, a razor I often have to dial to 2 or even 1 as it's too much for me.
In this razor the blade really shone. I have had more stubble removed in fewer passes but was able to get an excellent and pretty close result in four passes plus touch-ups, but crucially with no irritation! I even dialled the Flexi up to maximum in a moment of madness and did a pass with no issues. I've never gone to that setting on that razor before.
I really feel that while I have got closer shaves this delivers 90% of that with no irritation, something my poor little mug is prone to.

The Wilkie stick and Wars Classic were the icing on the cake
