What are you drinking tonight.

In France we can now go to a bar terrace for this first time in 7 months this weekend so obviously we went to have a little apéritif. It was a 2011 Rioja Montecilla along with a plate of local cheese and ham.

Then came home to a very cold St Feuillien, my second favourite Belgian beer.

What would be your favourite? I know it's a difficult choice but......

I have a preference for Grimbergen, because I worked there for quite a while in the 90's and it was a wonderful introduction to Belgian beer.
Hi Bruce,

Agreed, the choice is extremely difficult but mines comes down to Orval. I find that it just has a perfect character, it has good body, a slight, very slight bitterness, and at 6.2% its not overly strong.

As is the tradition with the Belgiand, we like to serve our beer in its corresponding glass. We had many more but it became too much..

I too like the Grimbergen, it is a little bit sweet compared to the others.. And they have a great looking glass.
