Now this was a good shave. Smooth, comfortable and efficient in two passes.
I think it helped that I really wanted to enjoy the razor, which I think is a WWII de-mobilisation razor. I do wonder what the CC means: Charing Cross? WJM is most likely WJ Myatt, the manufacturer, but CC and 1118 elude me.
I popped a Government issue Gillette blade into it - a Silver, dated L3. So, 1966 or 1941? 1966, more likely. It did its thing - a good, clean shave without roughness nor irritation afterwards.
A very nice shave ...
