Hmm, very strange indeed. I'm two lathers in and it's still persisting, I'll try running some water directly over the stuff and giving it a bit of a rub.

No Sellotape yet for me .

Mine had a divide as a result of poor storage, but after a couple of soakings and air drying it is now fine.

The comb seems to have improved the problem, but it still looks a little lopsided.

Also, did anyone else get the thick orange glue around the bottom of the knot? I am trying to add a picture from my phone on this tapatalk but apparently the forum has disabled image sharing from this app.

No, mine came in fine, no alignment issues. Maybe they did not seat the knot correctly / completely.

Mine came in badly packaged, some hair was offset and looked quite odd.
After 10 uses, it seems to have settled, but you can still tell that something's not completely right.
No extra glue though and no sellotape!

That sounds like the knot has shifted and settled?
