No. I've got the Rex Ambassador which I enjoy but it does have a couple of flaws. From what I've read, the Konsul is what the Ambassador could have been. I'm a slant fan so I'm sure it will be a good razor for me.

Looking forward to read your opinion on it.

If it has no serial number on the baseplate it could be anything from 1930 - 1940, great razor no matter what year.

Very interesting, it has a number, but no suffix, which is similar to the one Achim has identified as 1930 on Mr-Razor, so with no evidence to the contrary, I have to agree it's 1930. It's not solid evidence, but did it come with a vintage Gillette blade, and if so, what was the date code on that?

There are two blades in the box, unfortunately two different. One is Blue Blade and has a T4 date code and the other is as shown in the picture. So it's a dead end.
