HI all
Another review from rb73 pass around piff well as for the packaging looks like something from the 1950 s nice and colourful with a picture of a happy chap face full of foam.

AS for the smell well quite simply i could sniff this all day for some reason it reminds me of childhood christmas can't explain how but possibly soap on a rope :?

makes a nice lather with not a lot of effort but did leave my skin a little bit dry

Top stuff Arko Soap, from the Kitsch MadMen-esque era packaging, to its scent.

I know some people go on about urinal cakes, but I think they should just wash their hands when they get home from work. ;)
+1
Nice plain clean soap scent!

I love Arko.

I stuffed 3 sticks in a mini casserole dish like this one. Works a treat!

i used my arko stick for the first time tonight. I'm usually a cream man, but decided to give it a whirl.

duly wet my face, and rubbed the stick over my mush a bit, not thinking it was amounting to much. Moved on, wet the brush, shook it once to get the worst of the water out, and went to work. Lovely slick lather emerged, very easilly. I ended up with enough foam for a solid 3 pass shave, and enough left for touchups.

I like the smell and didnt find the arko any more drying than any other soap. Its superb value for money, and probably just slightly better than my crabtree and evelyn nomad soap in terms of shaving comfort. my face feels good.

I have reverted back to the Arko shaving stick as its the only one so far that prevents irritation on my neck. Tried EJ Sea Buckthorn and TOB and both were giving me major grief. Been using Arko for the last 3 shaves and my neck has settled down so from now on if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Also i'm lathering up a healthy foam and it's been slick and smooth and had more for an extra pass which wasn't needed.

Now i will need to try another soap.............no i don't!!..........payday is looming!! :D
