I'm sure a stainless steel Merkur (say 34SS or Progress SS - not sure the Germans would call it SS though ) would fly off the shelves.

Yes it uses Standard M5 x 0.8 thread.

I would have to agree. It has a rustic, almost free form carving look to it that I find really appealing. The head also looks really good too, compared to the other head designs coming out of that part of the world, which mostly seem to be Merkur clones.

It looks like I might be getting a second stainless steel razor soon...

For example the prints under the baseplate. Shall it be or not ? or what should be written what not ?
