Shame there so bloody hard to get hold of in larger numbers.

As I understand it, a huge proportion of the Thai Super Thins we see in the West come via Singapore and they're experiencing difficulties with supply there. If you want something similar (if not the same) try the Vietnamese Super Thins (available on eBay, shipped from Vietnam - in fact the ones Tony has linked to)

This supplier appears to be a 'something for the weekend shop'.
The Super Thin blades seem to be reasonably priced.

The Vietnamese ones are about 30% premium over the Thai ones... so that's a heck of a hike in price.

You're right! They're priced in Euros and I should have checked the exchange rate.
But...are they worth the premium asked?

They're difficult to get IN Thailand too. A neighbour of mine works for the WHO, and is currently in Thailand. He is also into wet shaving, and in fact has one of my brushes and some soap. When I learned that he was going there I asked him to get me some Thai Super Thins and get some for hisself too. He's not back yet, but the message from the grapevine is that they are currently mostly unavailable in Thailand too.

I got 10 of these off dridiot to try. Had my first shave with one the other day in my HD. No irritation, and very smooth. I can see why people like them. Shame about availability - hope it gets sorted.

Perhaps Thailand exported MORE to Singapore than what they had in reserve or leftover?
Kind of like 5 blades left over a shipment already shipped and "ill sell em to ya for alot of money!"..hehe

Also a couple of sellers on eBay, one selling the Thai blade (as below) and another selling the Vietnamese blade. Father Ted sent me a few Viets recently and they're very nice blades. I'm weighing up whether I need 120 superthins when I have 150 7 o'clocks in the bathroom cabinet.
