Well actually ... yes I was a sort of prefect, but by default. Without going into details of the command structure at my school, each house was supposed to have a complement of half a dozen house prefects from the VI form, and being as how we couldn't muster that many sixth formers I was co-opted to that purely titular rank. The real prefects (i.e. those who actually wanted the job) were a different breed, and would have done well at B&B.

Sort of similar situation to me there except after about 2 months of being dismissed I was approached by the "head prefect" and asked if I still wanted to be one as my "case was being reviewed". I just laughed and gave it a sort of "whatever" attatude.

I was a prefect again 2 weeks later
 
It would be so funny if someone started a thread asking about the parker connaught.

I can get around swear filters if anyone's tempted. :mrgreen:

I did and can also circumvent most "filters" but by doing so you alert the powers that you are aware of their filters and are acting with deliberate intent.

Imagine how complicated it would be for B&B if the folks at Badger and Hone manage to upset a few of the mods.

Anyway I think that Paul should henceforth be referred to over there as He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
 
There's already a thread over there in the contributor's forum titled Voldemort, and other names we shouldn't say were someone asked why i k o n razors are banned and the mods justify there banning of certain vendors.

Back in the 70s when we discussed plans for dealing with nuclear war down in our bunker, life was much less sophisticated. Our cunning plan was to shout "Don't panic" after the first blast.
