Cold water splash
L'Occitane Cade shaving soap
TGN 24mm Finest in Commodore X3 handle
ATT M2 Kronos
Gillette Silver Blue (2)
Clinique Post-Shave Soother
Acqua Di Parma Colonia

Cade delivers rich lather with a great scent whenever I use it. is An underappreciated soap IMO.

Have a great evening everyone!

A very leisurely shave this afternoon. Went in during daylight and came out and it had gone dark!

Progress on 5, 4
Gillette Silver Blue (2)
Nanny's Cedarwood and Vetiver shaving soap (hard)
Edwin Jagger boar brush
Aquatonic a/s

Excellent although a little rough against the grain under thin and on parts of the neck. Wanted to use an alcohol splash not a moisturising balm so got the balance between closeness and comfort just right

For 2 November ...

Razor is good for me, i have a strong beard and sensitive skin, this razor allows me

Prep: Shower
Razor: Pearl OC with Edwin Jagger top cap
Blade: Treet 'Black Beauty' Carbon
Brush: Semogue 620 Boar
Soap: Speick Stick Grated
Aftershave: Nivea Sensitive Balm

A billiard ball smooth shave, I reviewed this razor about a year ago and at the time I never noticed that the original top cap resulted in a bigger blade protrusion on one side than the other, this was brought to my attention by members with a sharper eye for detail and it is a fact.

The problem is solved with the use of the Jagger top cap, I suppose when you pay a tenner for a razor from India this can be one of the problems you encounter but none the less it should not be so.

I just love these modern carbon blades they are super gentle and forgiving to shave with, I suspect that in their country of origin, Pakistan, they are 'tuppence a bucketful' but like so many third world bargains they take an enormous price hike as they travel west!

Regards
Dick.

I'm still finding the angles of the chin itself difficult. All other areas are smooth as DE in two passes. Perhaps I oughtn't be chasing BBS but it'd be nice to work out the last piece of the puzzle.

Day-2 of Mo-vember and I'm out of the competition. SWMBO "made" me shave off the 'stache. Still, a brilliant shave.
