S.O.T.D Saturday 1 November to Friday 7 November 2014

Pre: Hot Shower
Soap: CRSW "Vetiver Terreux"
Brush: Bethlehem olivewood handle, 24mm Pur-Tech synthetic
Razor: Ikon ShaveCraft 101 w/ SE handle
Blade: Rapira Swedish Supersteel (1)
Post: Thayer's witch hazel, followed by Fine "Fresh Vetiver"
SC-101 is on loan (thanks Steve!) and feels very similar to my OSS. The SC-101 may be slightly more aggressive but not too much. A very nice shave indeed.

Nanny's vevyter,
Shiny big boar brush
ATT kronos r1
Vintage Scottish permasharp blade
La toja locion

Nice 2 pass shave. The blade was smooth and sharp. Very good!

My boar brush ate my lather, had to reload for pass 2.

Fri 7 November
Pre Neutogena glycerine bar
Cream Lea Menthol
Brush Victoria bristle
Razor Progress LH
Blade Lab Blue [1]
Post Alum rub, wash off.
Nivea Balm, La Toja A/S

1st DE shave for 3 weeks, Learning to use SE .

Really nice Shave [apart from 1 silly move] I think SE experience has helped me
improve my technique.
Also, the Progress is a lovely razor- LET THE WEIGHT DO THE WORK.

I didn't see much difference between the two either. I think the OSS may be very slightly milder?
