Warm shower
Hot towel
Mike's Pine & Cedarwood scuttle lathered
Finest Badger brush made by myself
Gillette Aristocrat (1946-47)
Gillette 7 O'Clock Sharp Edge (2)
Cold rinse
Thayers Superhazel
Boots Freshwood aftershave

Hot towel
Rasorock Zi Peppino soap
Muhle STF V2 brush
Mongoose w/Kronos handle
Kai titan mild [8]
alum, Myrsol Balsamica AS

First use of Zi Peppino, lovely slick lather with a slight green tobacco scent, blade dulling so a fresh blade next time, the Balsamica is great to finish up with.

Prep - Shower / Woods Of Windsor Cedar Woods soap / Pre-lather / 3 min steam
Razor - Ever Ready 1914
Blade - GEM Personna SS (#4)
Brush - Omega 20106
Soap - Arko / Lavender & Rose EO's
After - Freezer Towel / Alum
Result - BBS

Hot shower prep
Palmolive stick and cream super lather
Semogue OC boar brush
NOS Dovo 7/8 Best Quality
Myrsol Lemon AS
Myrsol Emulsion

Biggest blade I've used to date and no issues. Super lather was fantastic and first time I've tried it, won't be the last!

3 pass DFS which is good enough for me :)

Hi Avnish, how did you get on with the LPV?
Hi, it was very nice, the scent is superb on the same lines as icolonialli. Easy to lather, beautiful sheen and stayed stable. A very good soap!

face and head shave
Hot towel
Proraso white pre shave
Prosaso red soap
Omega '49 brush
Weber, bulldog handle, Rapiro Swedish Stell blade
witch hazel
old favourite Nivea sensitive balm

nice easy smooth shave

Bulldog Face Wash
Wickham's Super Smooth South Sea Spray
Muhle 33K256 Silvertip Fibre
Autostrop Valet VC3
Feather FAS (1)
Hot Rinse, Cold Rinse & Alum Wash
Witch Hazel Toner
Aqua Velva Classic Ice Blue Aftershave

Face Lathered
One Pass (Valet VC3) - WTG
Two Pass (Bic Sensitive) - XTG & ATG

I was just chatting to a pal about these blades which reminded me that I still have some and with that first pass remembered why I set them aside ...

To use his phrase: they couldn't cut their way out of a paper bag!

I finished off, well shaved, with a Bic Sensitive.

Hot water face splash
Exfoliating face wash with Dr. Squatch Pine Tar Soap
Seifenglatt 2014 LE #2*
Omega #622
Ikon Deluxe Open Comb
Rapira Swedish Supersteel
Cold water face splash
Brut Splash On Lotion

* The Seifenglatt 2014 Limited Edition #2 is even better than LE #1. The scent is masculine yet sensual; earthy with citrus tones. Believe it or not, the Brut complemented it perfectly. I used a little more product this time to really load the brush and increased the water until the bowl burst with lather. Even after 2.5 passes, there was still plenty of life left.

The Seifenglatt is definitely in my top 5 shaving soaps and, on a good day, can easily pitch for top spot.
