No straight today, I decided to give the kropp a rest today and used my DE with the following combo.
Prep: Hot wash with dove soap.
Soap: Tabac Stick sliced into an old face cream tub.
Brush: Vie long Horse.
Razor: 1966 Gillette slim adjustable #4
Blade: Gillette silver Blue #2
Post: cold waster spalsh - Nivea Sensitive Balm.

1x WTG, 1x XTG E-W, 1x XTG W-E and finally 1x ATG.

BBS with on very minor nick on my chin so not a perfect shave but as close as I have ever been and my very first time with 4 passes. No razor burn or irritation just smooth soft skin that feels very good indeed.

EDT: Angela Flanders - Zanzibar

Palm lathered for two great passes, not as close as the 1912 SE but nevertheless still a nice shave. All finished off with Angela Flanders incredible Zanzibar scent for men, perfect!

So today and yesterday I got back to a few favorite set ups and whewww, what easy shaves after 4 days running using the Mongoose. Yesterday was the Roller Guard head with a nice old Gillette blade and today was the Webley. Like using a cartridge, but fun.

Yeah, the Mongoose takes some attention which is ok every so often.
