Prep- Hot towel
Soap- Catie's Bubbles LPV
Brush- Muhle SFT V2
Razor- Mongoose + ATT Kronos
Blade- Captain Titan Mild Protouch [1]
Post- alum, Thayers witch hazel

A homage to TSE "Shave of the Gods", now the shave was very smooth and quick due to length of the head, although this is my first shave with the Mongoose I think it is going to justify it's hype. Hope all that get the razor enjoy it for what it is:- simply a excellent product.

Barrister & Mann Rosemary & Peppermint

How dioes this compare to the Beaudelaire?

I would say it has a similar performance in terms of latherability, volume, lubricity and moisturizing properties.

BUT, most importantly, the R&P smells miles better. I love peppermint so this is an easy soap to get on with for me.

Furthermore, it has a lasting 'cooling effect' post shave which is really nice.

I would recommend it over the Beaudelaire...

What's the LPV scent like Wazzer?

Pre: Village Barber oil
Soap: Penhaligon's Sartorial
Brush: Bethlehem olivewood handle, 24mm Pur-Tech synthetic
Razor: Schick dial adjustable (M15)
Blade: Schick Plus Platinum (NOS) 1997 (2)
Post: Thayer's witch hazel, Penhaligon's Opus 1870 ASB/EdT
Another fabulous shave. This brush is a lathering monster! I bet I could get lather from a block of ice with it.

The scent is a earthy sweet spicy smell, a bit of a marmite thing.

A shave of firsts:
Milk face scrub
KoS shave oil
Wickham's Spice Trade*
Simpson's Wee Scot*
Merkur Futur*
Personna Lab Blue
Alum
Thayer's Cucumber & Witch Hazel alcohol-free toner
Geo. F Trumper Sandalwood skin food*
(All marked * are first use)
3 pass WTG, XTG, ATG all set at 4
Incredible shave, BBS hardly covers it. What a razor!
First try out for the Wee Scot which is to be my travel brush, brilliant, even in my large hands. Wickham's soap very good too, elusive scent, but very good lather.
Not fussed on the smell of the Sandalwood skin food though.
Another mini adventure complete.

Lovely shave!

1 pass BBS. This razor is amazing, I did a lot of work to smooth the teeth out, I really can't express how good this is. And zero alum sting.

RR P.160
SteamPunk Old type
NF 2224
Cutoline alum
