Razor: Boots DE head on Merkur 25c handle
Post: Ebario Toscano black pepper ASB.
The Boots DE razor has quite a bite to it due to a high blade exposure, but I usually couple it to a Merkur long handle for better balance. Ouch, this was a pretty close shave, too close for my liking. So tomorrow, I'm using the Boots DE base plate on the Merkur top plate with the long handle, as it usually gives a milder shave. The Boots DE top plate is slightly narrower which is why there is more blade exposure.

Razor: Weber - Polished
Blade: Voshkod
A disappointingly patchy shave given the hardware. I suspect the combination of Weber and Voshkod is a little too mild for 1x WTG and 2x XTG, I should have finished on a 1x ATG. This brush annihilates soft soap, I loaded for my usual time but really didn't need to. The problem is I can see the bottom of the tub and I want the satisfaction of finishing another soap ;-)
