S.O.T.D. Saturday 9th May to Friday 15th May 2015

Prep- Tepid water splash
Soap- Shaver Heaven 'Mayan Musk'
Brush- Men-U
Razor- Valet VC1
Blade- Feather [1]
Post- alum, Thayers witch hazel, Krampert's Bay Rum AS

Bit of a rough shave with a couple of weepers and neck irritation, I put that down to the blade being a dud, otherwise the Krampert's lifted my spirits!

Mongoose + Feather Pro + Speick ASL each day.

Sunday: CRSW Sandlewood + E3
Monday: NSS olive oil Rose Geranium + TGN 2 band
Tuesday: XPEC Original + CH2 2-band

Best soap for me? NSS. Despite it being the only day I went ATG I had by far the least after burn sting, great scent, lovely and slick

Thought I'd put a bit of effort in today and post a picture:

Not sure about this Parker head, very agricultural, aggressive feeling but doesn't shave that close...
Sort of feels like a Progress on 5, but doesn't shave anything like as smooth or as close... Maybe try a different blade to tame it!

Caties Bubbles Glace Herbe

Prep - Shower / Pre-lather / 3 min steam towel
Razor - Gillette Ball End Tech
Blade - Gillette 7 O'Clock SharpEdge Yellow (#1)
Brush - Omega 20106
Soap - The Mighty TABAC!!!
After - Frozen towel / Alum & WH Mix
Result - BBS

Wow! I could wax lyrical all evening, using a great many superlatives......but I won't! The 7 O'Clock Yellow - just try one!
On the safe side as usual with the first test drive tonight and I love this razor more everytime I use it.
All in all, a powerful combination, gotta love Tabac!

Wed 13th May 2015
Omega 11137
Mitchells Wool Fat- face lathered
Gem Junior G Bar
Gem S/S [ 1 ]- with Fergiebilly Shim
Alum Rub/Rinse off
Woods of Windsor Balm
La Toja A/S Lotion

Using this for first time, though achieved a good shave, found that needed extra passes
to achieve it. Not as overwhelmed by it, as I was with my first shave with a Damaskeene.
