Dermol 200
Bic 1
And that's it.

Read about this Dermol in Esquire Magazine as they said its
Good for your skin in the winter to shave with. It's an emollient
That you use in the shower for dry skin conditions. I have to say
It does work but not as much fun as using a brush and soap and
A pre shave but for a change it's certainly different. Just dry your hands
As it is very slippery stuff.

Prep: Hot shower
Pre: S.M. Novella pre-shave
Soap: T&H 1805 cream
Bowl: Woodhead Large Tall scuttle
Brush: Omega 10098 boar
Razor: Merkur Progress @2.5, 2, 1.5
Blade: PolSilver SI (1)
After: Aqua Velva Sport AS, Dove ASB

This was the best shave I've had in ages. Don't know exactly why, must just have been everything came together. I should use the Progress more often as it always surprises me how well it performs. I even quite liked the 1805 cream scent (which I didn't before) , not too strong but fills your head. I bet I haven't used the Dove ASB in over a year because I thought it too thick/greasy but today it was just right.

Such a great BBS result I starting thinking about a Digress again.

Evening fellas!!

Razor Personna long handle
blade sputnik on the second
brush Vulfix 46 boar
soap WSS English Lavender
AS Old spice
ASB La Toja

Lovely 2 pass shave as always with this razor with and across.

Bulldog face wash
HTGAM CAD 2.0 (whatever we all think of his business practices, this really is a great soap IMO)
Omega 49
Merkur 37c
Lab blue (3)
Alum
Proraso green splash

Very good shave indeed. This soap is probably the slickest I've used of any so far. I really enjoy the scent and the post shave is top notch.

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

vintage rebranded 1964 Macys silvertip flopmeister
Roller Guard Razor head onna Weber long handle (great combo)/Gillette Super Stainless 1992 vintage from Argentina
DR Harris Marlborough SC
Barbershop Bay Rum AS and more used like cologne

These blades are keepers. Used three of em and they are sharp and smooth and forgiving. They're a good fit for this head, which works best with blades like the old Gillettes. I have used this set up a number of times again recently and it always strikes me how unusual this thing is on my face. It's got a strong 'toothy' feel without the bite!! Totally transforms an aggressive head into a well tamed very effective whisker whacker. Amazing.....seriously.

BBS results,

Martin

Ingrams Cream
Brush PB ,unknown make
ER Streamline

Alum rub & rinse off
Myrsol Antesol--no balm needed today.

A first with the Streamline, after 10 days of DE shaving. Really easy to use, no nicks or
weepers. Shame in a way to take it out of the box, as it was pristine. But need to justify
the cost.
