Tuesday 20th February

RSC Facial Scrub
Vitos Pre Shave Cream
Lea Shaving Stick
Semogue SOC Boar Brush in Ash
Focus Dynamic SE (Half Blade)
Alum Block and Rinse
BBA PS Balm
Myrsol Agua Balsamica AS
Oudh Khalifa EDP

It has been a while since I used the Focus R48 so a little care was initially required to refind the 'sweet spot'.

2 passes and a touch up for a super BBS shave:)

A so-so 1-pass to tidy up after a couple of days without shaving. The soap is apparently modelled on Aventus but immediately I had only wafts of something ‘fruity'. When I was cleaning up, however, I had some more typical wafts and wondered where they were during the shave! Either way it smells nice and lathers like a champ! Didn't get all that close a shave unfortunately; I put it down to a lack of sleep coupled with overthinking angles. Thanks to @Tom for the soap :)

Evening gentlemen,
Sorry about infrequent posts lately, but health stuff is hampering play.
Anyway, very pleasant shave this evening, the Glastonbury smelt great, not a single weeper or cut.
Very satisfactory finish too.

Greetings All,

Tuesday shave

One day's growth and warm shave

Preparation – Showered then face washed with Clique Liquid facial soap (mild)
Soap: OSP Fougere Soap
Razor: Rockwell 6C (4P)
Blade: Personna Blue (2nd)
Brush: RazoRock 400 (face lather)

Post Shave: Hot then cold water rinse, Alum, Nivea Sensitive ASB followed by Michael Kors EDT.

Personna Blue Test
Day 2

Second shave was not too bad, the blade is not as forgiving as the Rainbow, the weeper on my chin evidence of this. Moreover, there was a little more irritation this morning but I will admit I did get a close shave all three passes (apart from the crimson on my chin) went without incident. So, a non eventful shave is a good shave.

Cheers,

Brian
