SBS + Windrose
Super Max Platinum (#2)
Cella
YaQi 'Space' Tuxedo

Great shave from 'The Clawhammer'. My suspicions about the Super Max are coming to light, they're rougher on the first shave and mellow out thereafter. Quite a sharp blade, however, and no pressure whatsoever to glide through the marzipan-scented combination of stubble and lather. Straight bar side used more than the open-comb, simply more intuitive. Feeling a little dry and tight after the shave, which I'm pinning on the Cella more than anything else. A good shave overall and very smooth as a result. (@nolisco)

Who's next?! :D

Georgetown Pottery G20 Scuttle (Jet Black)
Rooney 3/3 Ebony Finest #1 (26mm/67mm)
Crabtree & Evelyn Sienna shaving soap and shaving cream (both vintage)
Charcoal Goods Brass L1/Triad Aluminum Antique Bronze Diamond
Personna 74 Tungsten (12)
Crabtree & Evelyn Sienna aftershave (vintage)

The brush has the softest tips of any of my Rooneys, reminding me of a vintage Plisson HMW.

Sotd - Saturday 18/11 -

Razor - Schick O type clone
blade - vintage single edge
brush - Stirling two-band fan butterscotch
soap - OSP Sicilian Lemon cream
post - witch hazel
a/s - Myrsol Agua de Limon
balm - aloe vera
scent - Dior Eau Sauvage.

Result - excellent.

A proper Saturday shave - an unhurried plitter (@Barry Giddens) around my shaving porn to see what I fancied. Citrus I thought - and then I remembered that I don't have to ration my OSP products anymore. Yes! - get in. My first use of the O type clone - an interesting and highly enjoyable experience. I have no idea what the blade was that I used - I meant to put a Japanese twin into it but picked up the wrong dispenser - a single edge blade - the only thing written on the packaging was 'Made in England.' The razor was very mild for me - but at the same time extremely effective. Initially I thought it wasn't doing anything - but two passes later - no more stubble. None more. It did the job almost without notice. I found the very long handle a bit odd at first - in some ways a blade on a stick - but it's super grippy and comfortable when you get used to it. I can see this design as being the last Schick produced before going to the dark side completely - it was like a cart handle - in and as much as I can remember using them. Long, long ago - in a galaxy far away. Very good - this razor is a keeper for me. I can only imagine it will be even better with a twin blade. No sting from the Myrsol - a healthy application of aloe vera gel - then Sauvage and off out the door. Job done. So @Boru62 - how does the razor rate on the smoothness scale? The dolphin-ometer? I'd say - at least - an Atlantic White-sided if not Hourglass. Enjoy your shaves one and all. Yours - I.

Oh - I got the razor from @The Geordie Shaver - there aren't any more left to buy -but I'd like to say, a complete gentleman to deal with.

Greetings,

A relaxing 3 pass + pick ups sunday shave with no errors to report.

The Lord L125 is a excellent non-aggressive razor, but efficient light weighted razor which would make a good introduction to traditional wet shaving or a every day razor, that gives a DFS.

Finishing the shave off in style with a very generous splash of Old Spice~ Bearglove Aftershave...A fantastic shave.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling of freshly cut watermelon.;)

Enjoy your sunday, ladies & gentlemen.

A very elegant shave set-up, i honour people who use straight razors, as for myself i wouldn't attempt to shave with one, probably out of fear, of doing damage to my face, you get the occasional cuts, nicks, & weepers with any razor, but with a straight it would be in my mind all the time, and i wouldn't be able to enjoy the traditional wet shaving experience..as you do with that beautiful looking straight razor.:)Regards.

Omega 11137 boar
L`Occitane Cade Cream
Schick Type O " Clone "
Schick Proline [3 [
Alum Rub/ Rinse off
Puig Quorum A/S Lotion

Though specifically designed for use with a Twin Blade, I have for comparison with other Injectors been using the O Clone with an AC Proline Blade. So far it is faring very well.

After a Shave yesterday with an N3/Twin, the Clone was not as smooth but had a nice degree of blade feel allowing me to determine the progress of the Shave. Apart from an area on the chin, the quality of the finished Shave was as good as yesterdays with the N3/Twin blade, this probably due to operator error . look forward to using the Clone with a Twin blade.

Rather a shame this Razor, which though a copy is an excellent performer is not available in UK. Thanks to the efforts of Derrick @The Geordie Shaver a few of us are sampling the the delights of this Razor. Though an original is up for sale in UK for around £*** I will settle for this one:).
