Ok I managed to find one alembicase (and only one) on ebay, couldn't find hide nor hair elsewhere, time to take another gamble..

Think the auction was actually for the 3 x gold dollars but I only wanted the case. May not fit the bill but I couldn't argue for just over £20.

I don’t hold out any hope for this soap as it really doesn’t have good reviews but really like the ceramic pot it comes in even if it’s to put a better soap in, it will be a bit of a fun challenge all the same

Been eyeing this one up for months to accompany my Dior Fahrenheit it’s out of stock on the first line shave website and only one left at maggard razors so thought I would grab it !

Also just realised slickboys restocked some A&E stuff - and amongst that is Spartacus.... Do I really want to splash £40 on that soap and ASL now that I do have the SV Optunia and matching ASL?

Well it’s eventually arrived after being in Oslo customs since the 19th march.
The 1968 SHISEIDO MG5 Japanese razor.
I have to say the quality is far better than i thought, the razor itself seems class although is it a flare tip clone ?
It’s in immaculate unused condition which i think is a great thing considering it’s age.
The case i initially thought was plastic but turns out to be leather and the built in blade dispenser at the back adds a nice touch and quality built.
Can anyone date the blades ?
i have at least 50 blades with this but as you can see one pack unopened.
Would you try these blades or am i playing with fire ?
over all i’m extremely pleased but might possibly change my mind after it’s first outing

yes i bought it to use i’m not one for buying things to sit in a drawer having said that i have a unused slim coming but i’m sure i’ll be using it also
