Razor - Rockwell SS R3
Blade - Gillette SharpEdge
Brush - Simpson Captain
Lather - MWF

Same razor/blade combo as last time. It was great last time but I was a bit rushed. Took my time today for an excellent two-pass shave. Nothing to complain about at all.

The MWF strikes me as having a bit of an Autumn/Winter vibe, but in this weather all bets are off. The Captain brush feels huge after using the M6… nice to mix things up a bit, though.

Went for a United Nations approach today. Gibbs 17 from La Belle France, soap from The Netherlands (I defy anyone not Dutch to pronounce the name on the lid correctly :ROFLMAO: ) LORD blade from Egypt and a synthetic brush from unknown source. The blade needs to be nibbled to enable a fit in the Gibbs head but otherwise the shave was straightforward, bbs in one main wtg and then atg pick ups.
The razor comes to pieces easily for cleaning thus,

Be careful not to over tighten the knob and crack the Bakelite handle ( new spares available on Etsy ) I pronounce the soap Shear Monic….

Blade = Gillette Nacet Golden Shave ( 2 )
Brush = Chisel & Hound V15 Adventure Series
Cream = Geo F Trumper Spanish Leather
with matching Splash & Balm.

My favourite cream by a country mile.
Everything about it is first class with the scent being up there with the best.
The Brush is also a favourite although doesn’t get enough outings.
The Razor is borrowed from @Blademonkey and what a brilliant razor.
I’m going to use it a fair bit this week before handing it back but i have to say it’s superb.
it reminds me of my Ikon B1 in terms of aggression but it’s on my limit as a daily shaver,
In fact it’s a tad more aggressive than the B1.
For a while now iv been thinking about getting the SS Blackbird but by all accounts it’s maybe a bit on the aggressive side for me but the Ti version is spot on.
A big thank you to Paul for having the trust to loan me this wonderful razor & a big thanks to @Boycie83 for posting it out.
Overall this shave was a 10/10 bbs :love:.

Thanks mate it’s much appreciated.
I know it’s not for everyone but i love the spanish leather.
100% my favourite scent & the performance is up there with the best of them.
once i get myself out the house ill send you the Rockwell box Also i’ll stick in another Palmolive Stick but the next one is older than the one you have.
Another great product gone forever
