English Tech 60/70s. Aluminium handle and baseplate. From Ebay for £12.
I wanted a pretty standard type Tech and this is it. Can’t believe the quality. The photo is warts’n’all, so you can see micro-scratches, but in the flesh it looks like new old stock (that’s what we called it in the bass-playing world anyway). More importantly the geometry looks spot on… my last Tech was a bit cronked in one corner.
Even if I don’t appreciate the shave I’ll be keeping it… just to look at and… erm… fondle.

This beautiful Blackland BlackBird Titanium razor arrived today, that was a member purchase. I am hoping once I obtain the lite and open comb plates that it becomes my Goldilocks DE razor.
I am really looking forward to shaving with it later today.
