Amazon and eBay. Overpriced, considering the original French and US pricing.

English Tech 60/70s. Aluminium handle and baseplate. From Ebay for £12.
I wanted a pretty standard type Tech and this is it. Can’t believe the quality. The photo is warts’n’all, so you can see micro-scratches, but in the flesh it looks like new old stock (that’s what we called it in the bass-playing world anyway). More importantly the geometry looks spot on… my last Tech was a bit cronked in one corner.
Even if I don’t appreciate the shave I’ll be keeping it… just to look at and… erm… fondle.

Actually my favourite line from the film is the very underrated and preposterous "We've gone on holiday by mistake".

another tech that came in a clothes brush and seems possibly unused. I had an aluminium handled ball end tech before but I think I'll like this heavy handle more. will give it a try tomorrow. I'm wondering what make these blades are and also if they're ok to use?
