Everything about that brush looks right, from the loft height, the fan shape, the balance of the handle and the aesthetics.

That is a stunning looking handle and knot.
My Masamune came this morning. Not had chance to use it yet but I'm suitably impressed with how it arrived and the level of precision in the machining and hand finishing. It's an expensive razor but the quality definitely seems to match the price.
The way the handle actually recesses into the base plate rather than sitting flush on it is exceptionally well machined. Once it's got a blade in and it's tightened there is not a single mm of wiggle or play that i could notice. Can't wait to give it a try tomorrow!

It's actually made in the USA.My possibly Canadian Nickel textured Type G has arrived. It's in mint condition with a blank blade:

Hi Paul, never seen that variation of Polsilver before. Love both the SI & the Åódź variety, where did you get those from?
You'll enjoy that.... its an excellent choice and very similar the original, but tends to last a lot longer on the skin for most. That said everyone has different skin oils and chemistry and that will effect the longevity and fragrance of any scent. What smells good on one might smell like cats pee on another

Hi there, these are the now discontinued blades from the Lodz Factory in Poland, the remaining stock is available from Shaving ie but are not cheap at £60.00 for 200 delivered! The price goes up every year so stocks must be getting low by now.
