A very pleasant, simple shave this morning. A good lather with the Mühle shaving cream and a smooth two passes with the bog standard DE89. Overall result is probably not quite as close as the Merkur slant yesterday, but very respectable nonetheless.

Greetings,

Election Madness day!

Early morning shave,

Another wonderful performance from the Gillette slim twist.

The Arko Sensitive Shaving Cream created a slick protective lather in a short space of time.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Men Sensitive ASB.

My face is feeling cool smooth & smelling divine.;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

If you mean the Civil Service personnel stay the same that’s correct and the problem.

So, it’s a long shot but I am looking for the blade carrier piece which was missing from this DeHaven razor which I found recently. It’s possible to install a modern injector or half de blade in the carrier. Without it I have a very nice art deco shaped razor but not one I can use.
Fotos below if anyone can help. Maybe more chance from TSR folk in the USA?
Thanks for any help or advice fellas!
Alan

Perhaps another way to go is to 3D print the body and bend the spring to shape?

Pre - Dove Original Cream Bar
Brush - Alpha Outlaw Titanium V1 Synth
Soap - OSP Eucalyptus & Menthol
Razor - Feather WS-D2 - Shimmed
Blade - Gillette Perma - sharp
Post - Cold water Rinse
Balm - Proraso Green
A/S - OSP Eucalyptus & Menthol
Wk 27 (6).jpg
The OSP Eucalyptus & Menthol is about as cold as i would want it to go, a crackin' lather whisked up on the chin with the Alpha Ti, a brilliant brush by the way.
3 very comfortable passes from the shimmed WS-D2, a really nice post shave for a very nice bit of sink time.
Enjoy your day all.

Many thanks for your reply, I’m not sure the 3D route will work here, the blade holder is a pretty small and thin item. Plus I don’t have any dimensions just a foto. The wire clip could be made I guess but the business end of the blade holder would be difficult to reproduce.
I’ll continue trawling the net and see if some turns up, as Mr Micawber once said.
