I'd heard Chinese razors (Gold Dollars, Gold Monkey, Titan) were cheap but didn't pay much attention. Then one day I realised just how cheap... £12 for this ACRM-2 carbon steel Titan (AliExpress). I could have got THREE Gold Dollar 66 for the same price! This is nuts.

Apparently they all have good steel - possibly the Titan is slightly better so I chose this. It might even be close to shave ready.

Not sure if you can rely 100% on quality control but hopefully I won't get a dud.

Only £13 on Ebay, blade looks very clean, hardly any corrosion. It would have been rude not to buy it.

A small bottle of vintage Floris Ormonde EdT, which I have not used before. It has a fougère top note, jasmine and rose heart notes, and musk and oakmoss base notes.
