SOTD 29th OCT.JPG

Pre Shave: Hot Shower + L'Oreal Birch Sap Face Wash and Proraso white
Razor: Colonial Razors the General Brass
Blade: Feather Pro (#1)
Brush: Omega Boar
Soap: Tabac
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Thayers Lavender Witch Hazel
AS: Nivea 2 phase

I decided to drop out of OCtober for today to try the General. The shave was very smooth, I am very pleased with this brass version. I have the original aluminium version and this is better, the extra weight works well for me, but the aluminium version is still a great razor.

Sun 29th October
Omega 10005 boar
Tabac
ATT SE1 +Windrose Handle
Schick Proline ( 6 )
Alum Rub / Rinse off
Tabac A/S lotion

Had extra early start as woke at 5 ( 4 with clock change ), spent time looking for house insurance
Documents. Finally realised they were on the computer. At least steered me into weeding out files and stuff not used for a while.

Decided I wanted nice easy Shave ,so chose the ATT SE1 which always delivers, unless I am foolish. With a Proline blade it is so smooth and comfortable to use that I can use it as a Daily Shaver.Today was as I had hoped, a fault free top notch Shave, probably made easy by choice of the Tabac as it always makes a Shave go well.

Sunday's shave :)

Pre-shave - Warm shower, Wright's Cold Tar Soap face wash.
Razor - Supply-SE v2.0 (Plate **).
Blade - Personna injector (PTFE coated) (Day 2).
Soap - Jack Black Supreme Cream Shaving Cream.
Bowl - Little Wren.
Brush - Simpsons Chubby 2 Synthetic Badger.
Post shave - Myrsol "Lemon" Splash, followed by Ibiza-Aloe Aloe Vera Gel.

An excellent 3 pass shave, WTG, XTG, ATG - no issues. A lovely relaxed, Sunday shave. For me and I appreciate that YMMV, the Supply-SE v2.0 shaves like a OneBlade, but is more fun to shave with.

Did you have the old Supply SE Razor? Is the new one much better? :)

Blade: Gem SS #1
Razor: Gem Streamline
Soap: S.V. Cosmo
Brush: S.V in Rose wood
Bowl: S.V Grail
Post: BBA Balm (Sample sachet)
EDT: Izzey Myake (Again coz I love it :)

Well after a long awaited time I have finally had the opportunity to use the renowned "Streamline."
It is a recent purchase but I had to wait for a new bottle of Barbicide before I could use it.
It has been my Holy Grail and I have to thank @Blademonkey for sending me on this path.
Using the lightest of feather touches I am truly amazed by this razor.
She is so, so audible and removes whiskers for fun. The weight, balance and build is far superior to anything I have had reviewed in the Gem range.
YMMV but she really is an aggressive little madam and needs to be treated like your first date. A little cwtch (cuddle in English :) ) and perhaps a peck on the cheek before you put her to bed.
All I can say is WOW!.
Two passes is all I wanted this evening because this lady will take a layer of your epidermis without asking you.
BBS and DFS around the neck area I am truly amazed by her.

I used the best Hardware that I own this evening to give this razor the credit she deserves.

Big shout out to @Blackmass for his advice and sourcing this brush. Big shout out for @Bandito for supplying it. Big shout out to @wayne mattison who gifted me this soap, (Yes guys for free) and finally a big shout out for @Olie29 who I bought the S.V Bowl from.

I know this has become more of an essay than the SOTD but I simply wanted to try and explain that I have found my "Holy Grail!"

Good night and God Bless all.
Wayne

Nice one Wayne. Thanks for the tag.
Glad you got on with the Streamline and managed to survive unscathed.
It is a beautiful razor and the build quality is top notch but it was way too aggressive for me.
The brush looks stunning too but hey you already know my opinion on that one.;)
