YAY @ The Davester ! My uncle was in the Gordons in WW2 prior to being remustered into the Paras before Arnheim. He was always whistling, ' A Gordon for me '.

My Grandad was Gordon before being re'd into the 3rd Armoured Division for North Africa. He turned up to artillery training in his kilt, which drew some... ahem... unflattering comment.
