Warm shower
Hot flannel
CRSW Select Sandalwood bowl lathered
Finest Badger brush made by myself
Gillette Bulldog (1918)
Astra SP (3)
Cold rinse
Thayers Lavender witch hazel
Boots Freshwood aftershave

RazoR'OC'k-tober (12 Oct)
Pre: RazoRock/HTGAM mentholated lime soap
Soap: Mike's Bay Rum
Brush: Simpson's M6 TSN-LE, 22mm 2-band Manchurian
Razor: Ikon Deluxe OC
Blade: NOS Personna74 (9)
Post: Alum block, followed by Thayer's witch hazel, followed by Myrsol Antesol
P74 blade is definitely on the way out. Weepers everywhere today, I needed to pull the alum block from the back of the bathroom cabinet. It's possible my prep wasn't up to scratch. I normally shave after a shower but today I shaved in the afternoon with only a hot towel prep. I'll try the blade one last time with a mild razor next.

Shower
Arko Stick (Grated)
Kent Infinity Silvertex
Fromm Shavette
Weck Blade (CrOx Stropped)
Hot Rinse, Cold Rinse & Alum Wash
Pinaud Clubman Hair Tonic

Face Lathered
One Pass - WTG

Just a simple one pass after a good shower, the hair tonic run through my hair and slapped on my face after the alum wash.

After yesterday's Shovel Head, I really didn't need to shave but this just neatened it up ...

That razor is amazing - I want one!

Soap: Wickham Bay Rum
Brush: Semogue 830
Razor: Weber
Blade: Rapira Swedish Supersteel [2]
After: Groomed Moisturiser

Lovely lather from the Wickham, really liking this soap.

Tabac shaving bowl soap
Edwin Jagger boar
Vintage Minora blade
Long comb New
v10 aftershave balm

Stumbled across these never-tried-by-me blades during a bedroom tidy up/clear out. Initially a bit rough and not the sharpest but not as bad as that might sound; most of us use excellent modern blades all the time. I would finish the pack of five but not seek them out.

Shave for OCtober 13th ...

The FaTip is a very aggressive razor and even in this configuration I will only use it a second day (13th) and then move to something else in the OC rotation. Usually a razor such as this, or the 2013 R41, gets used for two days then it is back to a less aggressive razor.

Have a great week, gentlemen!

Prep: Village Barber Oil
Soap: Dr. Harris Sandalwood
Brush: Simpsons P8
Razor: Progress (2,1.5,1)
Post: L'Occitane Baux/444

The new Harris soap is lovely, applied like a soap stick and built a thick and slippery lather from there. A very complex scent, looking forward to giving this a whirl again.
