First time with the Windrose razor. This beast would look more at home in a Spanish Inquisition Tool Kit. It is agressive but I had a smooth 2 pass with touchup BBS :)
Horrible day outside and I am still motorcycling as my car is being prepared for MOT and sucking my bank balance dry at the same time:(

Friday 20th OCtober

Soap - Haslinger Hönig
Brush - RazoRock Disrupter 22mm
Face lather
Razor - Gillette New OC
Blade - Polsilver Iridium
Post - BBA ash
Smell - Eau Sauvage EdP

Second of two OC shaves this month. No fuss, no frills and a good all rounder.
Haslinger, IMO, do great soaps and the Hönig is one of their best.

The New and Polsilver paired well and something nice and woody was needed to finish; the bergamot, myrrh and vetiver of the Eau Sauvage (I see there's a 2017 reworking of this; I hope it's still as good).

Afternoon gentlemen,
This morning's shave was a bit of an eye opener! I tried the next Treet offering , the carbon black version. It's been recently described as very sharp and smooth. Well I must have used a duff blade, it was by far the most tuggy blade I have ever used, didn't remove the stubble at all well. Quite disappointing as I had high hopes after how good the platinum one preformed.
Anyways, after much buffing I got a reasonable finish without too much irritation.
