1950s Super Speed

Razor choice was made by closing my eyes and grabbing the first razor that I touch, I got Sid Vicious. I know it's not going to kill me, but still don't trust it :dodgy:

Yes, I found those to be a bit shifty myself, Not a razor to take for granted enough to relax enough to use. Shaves more aggressively than it should.

Heh, sorta convincing eh? Some parts of truth in there to keep things interesting.

Hi martin Not meny people shave with a Super Speed do they, I find them more aggressive than the Red tip,and certainly more aggressive than you would think its going to be, it can produce a nice shave but only if you give it 100% of your skills, if not then Sid becomes a little moody.

Thursday:

Tabac
Semogue SOC Boar
FaTip/Weber Bulldog
Gillette 7 o'clock SharpEdge
Witch Hazel
Barbershop Bay Rum
Nivea Q10 ASB

Nice shave. I'm really enjoying the Tabac this week, as everyone knows, the lather is great and I don't mind the scent either. A little bit of irritation on my neck hence the ASB.

Prep: Hot shower
Pre: Proraso pre-shave (sensitive)
Soap: Tabac Stick (soap of the week)
Brush: Traditional Shaving Co. Pure Badger
Razor: Progress @3, 2.5, 2
Blade: Iridium Super (3)
After: Barbershop Bay Rum, Lynx ASB

Tabac Week Day 4

Really enjoying my Tabac week. I find that this soap does need a fair amount of water adding to prevent it going dry and in response gives a nice moisturising shave.
After the first pass I tend to run out of a soap so I top up by holding the stick upside down and rubbing onto the brush for two turns.

The surprising thing about this soap of the week is that my skin feels conditioned and soft, kind of well-balanced. I'm puttung this down to another great feature of Tabac.
What's not to like? (ok, I know really.. for some)

Going away in June so trying out possible travel packs. geeky I know but needs to be done.

The Feather razor/blade combo really is very nice, anyone who thinks the Feather blades are harsh needs to ry this combo, smooth and sharp. Near BBS even though I'm not totally convinced about the Boots shave stick.
