Monday xx October, 2014

Pre: Korres Wheat Face Soap
Brush Kent V21 Mixed Badger & Bristle
Soap: Palmolive & La Toja Sticks grated and mixed
Razor: Executive Shaving Braveheart on a Maggard MR3 Handle
Blade: Gillette Nacet #2
Post: Alum, Myrsol Metisol, Acqua di Parma Collezione Barbiere ASB

Results: A little nip from the Braveheart this morning, but all cleared up by the alum. I'm not sure exactly what to make of the Metisol... it feels nice, but the scent is so herbal I'm constantly wondering how overbearing it may be to others. No-one has said anything so I'll keep on with it until the bitter end! Nice shave though and chin feels tip top now.

All the best,

Jon[/b]

The straight has been retired for a few days until my finger heals and I am able to hold it properly. I cut the tip when my finger slipped off the cloth I was using to clean my King Cutter.

Pre: Hot shower with dove soap wash.
Cream: Palmolive
Brush: Vie-Long Horse.
Razor: 1966 Gillette Super Speed Flare tip.
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue.
Post: Prof Blightys Hyperion post shave tonic.

Nice 3 pass shave today WTG, XTG and ATG. The superspeed always surprised=s me in the fact that whilst I shave it doesn't seam to take anything off, however after the shave and just befroe applying AS, my skin always feels smooth.

The prof hyperion seams to be my goto aftershave now, I just love the smell and it lasts a long while too. First time of using the Palmolive, it didn't seem to lather very well in the bowl but when I applied it direct to my face it seamed to go on ok.
