I've taken a liking to Kalr soap of late....very good indeed.

Hey, Alfie - ditching the Croweaters EVOO for Emu Oil, eh? Will be interested in your thoughts. I've used both with good results.

Yep, unfortunately I ran out of my favourite EVOO, so I thought I might use some of the other oils I have.

It has a nice post-shave feel but I prefer the scent of my EVOO and also think my skin prefers it as well...

Well, that was a very enjoyable shave, until I heard the news on the BBC. Absolutely shocked that this sort of shit is still going on!

I've just seen the news and am also shocked and sickened by the actions carried out in Manchester but I fear it is not the last time we will see this.

Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.

Peppermint Oil & Witch Hazel Mixture./ Geoffrey Beene:Grey Flannel .A/S.

The Real Shaving Co. Post Shave Soothing Balm.

Greetings,

A very efficient 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report..I'm amazed on how efficient & and yet, very smooth the R41 is once you get over the fear of it's reputation of been fiercely aggressive..I treat this lady with the upmost respect, and get rewarded with sublime shaves..My face is silky smooth & smelling devine.

Enjoy your day,ladies & gentlemen.

PS: My deepest condolences go out to the innocent victims & families of last nights horrific act of brainwashed madness...Terrorism has no religion, terrorists have no religion and they are friends of no religion.

Greetings All,

One days' growth.

Preparation – face washed with Clique Liquid facial soap (mild)

Pre: Proraso pre-shave (white)

Soap: Arko
Razor: Merkur 34c
Blade: Personna platinum blue (2nd use)
Brush: Molten Brown Shaving Brush

Post Shave: Cold water rinse, (NO Alum) then a shower followed by Proraso post shave cream (white)

Not a bad shave today – 3 passes with, across and against (plus a touch up).

OK – as suggested I dropped the post shave alum block rub. My skin does feel a lot better, but still slightly tender around the neck, but a lot better. I do have very coarse (and thick) stubble so maybe return to a Feather and see if the sharper blade helps.
