Pre Shave:- Hot Shower
Soap:- Proraso Soap (Green)
Brush:- Mervyn Cadman Old Grained Ivory Silvertip Badger (Please ignore the link, I still have not found out how to switch it off)
Razor:- Merkur 37C
Blade:- Shark (4)
Post Shave:- Proraso Pre/Post Cream (Green), Proraso A/S (Green)

This morning's shave was a bit ‘tuggy'.Pushing the Shark to 4 shaves in a slant was a bit too much to ask for, but being from Yorkshire you just have to try, must have saved a fortune !!!!!

Omega 10026
MWF- face lather
E R 1914- with Short chromed handle.
Gem S/S [ 3 ]
Alum Rub/Rinse off
Woods of Windsor Balm
La Toja A/S Lotion.

First use of this 1914, wondered about handle, smooth like Futur. No need to worry with a light touch, got to my surprise a better shave than with the 1924 yesterday. This is a reversal of previous experience. As they say, each razor is different, this is a keeper, in nice condition too.

Prep: Claus Porto's Lime-oil face soap
Razor: Kai T-type Dispo Razor
Blade: (6)
Brush: Kabuki Bamboo
Shave soap: Wickham's Coconut
Aftershave: Old Spice Noir
Cologne: Azzaro

Prep- Tepid water splash
Soap- MdC
Brush- Muhle STF V2
Razors- Wade & Butcher 7/8ths, Mongoose
Post- alum, Stirling AS balm

Second shave with this re-honed razor and struggling to find the correct cutting angle below 30° ( I am a beginner ) will not cut through thicker bristle and get's 'hung-up' only want to use light strokes and let weight of wedge scythe off bristles, any way finished off with Mongoose and liberal application of alum and balm.

Thursday:

Shower prep
Saponificio Varesino Manna di Sicily Soap
Gillette Super Adjustable
Polsilver SI
Saponificio Varesino Manna di Sicily AS
TF Tobacco Vanille EdP

This soap has quickly become my favourite, simply put amazing stuff ! the AS lotion is not to shabby either.

Not really helping but I feel safer and more confident with a more hollow ground razor than my wedge and near wedge razors. Don't get me wrong they are very efficient but I feel they're just this close to causing some damage where I get more positive feedback from my paper thin extra hollow grinds.

Stick with it and it's all about practice.
