I'm not the greatest at deciphering scents but the things that come to mind with Beaudelaire is a smokey perfumed leather fragrance if that makes any sense :icon_razz:
Certainly a very different scent and may not be to everyone's taste.

Yes, it's certainly different and you have described it very well. Dare I say it is almost 'fusty'!?

I think / hope it will grow on me...

I think it's better in use than sniffing from the tub. If I'd been able to sniff before buying I wouldn't have - but it might be a slow grower...

Unfortunately not, these are exclusive to Huntlee and the US market, sorry.

Darran,
Will the HuntLee scents also be available as Wickhams? The Sweet tobacco sounds great

Shame.

TUESDAY EVENING

Prep: Hot rinse
Rasor: Ikon DLC Slant
Blade: Bolzano
Brush: Simpsons Chubby 2 Super
Cream: TOBS Jerwyn Street - bowl lathered
AS: Witch hazel
Post: Zirh

Very nice indeed. Love the scent of the TOBS (a birthday present from my Mum).

Bulldog face wash
Merkur 37c
Lab blue (1)
Razorock Mudder Focker
Omega 49
Proraso menthol splash (can't get enough of this at the moment)

Very nice shave indeed. Some irritation on my neck mainly down to shaving over areas that were sore from my previous shave due to to dry a lather.

Happy I used the Mudder Focker again as it really is a slick soap with an excellent post shave. Interestingly enough I didn't get much in the way of a tingling sensation post shave as I had done after using it on previous shaves.

Traveling with Mastro Livi Grifone

On the road again. This time I brought with me my newest Mastro Livi Grifone and it will keep me company for this whole week. I am sure it will give me excellent shaves, like the one it gave me this morning. The more I use the "Grifetto steel", the more I like it. Smooth and comfortable shave, aggressive yet velvety, magnificent inox steel for a superb shave.
