Tuesday:

Mitchell's Wool Fat
Semogue SOC Boar
FaTip/JEC handle
Voskhod
Witch Hazel
Barbershop Bay Rum

I hadn't had a shave since Friday morning so needed something with a bit of bite to quickly clear the decks. The FaTip/Voskhod combination delivered an excellent result, nicely finished with Steve's bay rum. Easy BBS.

Greetings

Just a two pass shave across and against, very quick more that acceptable.

Monday evening

Razor : Feather Popular
Blade : Racer
Brush : Simpson Commodore X2
Soap : Proraso Green
splash : Proraso

After the blood bath of the previous day this was a great shave. Haven't used a Racer in a long while and reminded of why I enjoy them so much and the 2nd shave with the commodore - what a great brush.

Warm shower
Hot flannel
Sir Irisch moos cream scuttle lathered
Simpson 56 best badger brush
Gillette 1930's NEW short comb
Sputnik (1)
Cold rinse
Witch hazel
Sir Irisch moos aftershave balsam

Clean and comfortable shave. I think there may be one more shave in the moos cream. This razor was badly tarnished and stained I've spent around 2 hours polishing to get it cleaned up. The gold plating had long gone.

With special thanks to tuftey02 for the Figaro P160 splodge PIF.

Shower.
Load with P160 (PIF) in palm, face lather with Molton Brown Badger.
WTG (North-South) with Merkur 34C / Rapira blade (2)
WWR.
Re-load and re-lather.
XTG.
WWR.
Re-load and re-lather. Squeeze brush. Apply the pure stuff.
GTX.
WWR.
ATG touch-up at the sideburns.
WWR
Alum block.
WWR.
CWR.
Nivea Sensitive Post Shave Balm.

Result: Trouble retaining the lather between passes. Every time I picked up the brush for the next lather it seemed to have lost it and I had to reload between passes. I put it down to the puck size and not loading properly to begin with.
Not a big fan of the WTG, XTG and GTX in the neck area. Feedback from the alum was strong disapproval from the skin! WTG, WTG, ATG being the answer?
Presentable shave result. Not anywhere near smooth under the chin. But BBS at the sideburns/jaw area.

Thanks again to tuftey02. Will work on the lathering issue next time and change up the neck work.
