It's on! Following three shaves with the very excellent Statum Platinum Chrome I'm pitting that against my personal favourite blade, the Treet Platinum. It goes to show that sense memory is only as good as how recent it is because I had expected to say that the Statum is probably sharper but the Treet really put out and gave me a very similar shave. Very similar indeed. Two thoughts at this stage - the Statum is already one of my favourite blades and has the capacity to become "the one"; meanwhile, the Treet is still the blade I'd pick up knowing exactly that I'll get an absolutely ten out of ten shave with each shave for the life of the blade.

Another Fat shave photo which is a bit boring but really enjoying the shaves and results.

Is it really a loan razor or is crossan a complice to cover up another slip up from your non purchase commitment :unsure:

Couple of new items to the den in the DS S9 Razor head (nivmce and efficient but so smooth - it's a cline of the GC84 albeit with a slightly bigger blade gap at .86mm), also the new Lothur moisturiser (lightweight, it applies and is absorbed easily, bon greasy feeling but very hydrating). An absolute banger of a shave !
