The Weber appears to divide opinion - suspect build quality (on some examples at least), is it or isn't it aggressive - but paired with the Astra SP tonight, it gave me a fantastic shave. Mind you, I can't see the SP being good for any more; the Weber certainly gave it a workout and no mistake.

Tonight is the first night that I have used the Soap Commander Passion in anger. It comes in a reassuringly large tub, is really easy to get a great lather with the Plisson and it has an interesting cinnamon scent which I haven't come across in a shaving soap before.

To finish off, I love the Arko ASB - it just does exactly what it says on the tin with no fuss or drama.
 
Prep: Hot shower
Pre: S.M. Novella pre-shave cream

Bowl: Woodhead Tall Large Scuttle
Brush: Semogue 830 boar
Razor: ATT R2 Kronos
Blade: Zorrik SP (3)
After: Proraso AS, Coral Skin Food ASB

Changed my opinion of the Zorrik blade, although during the shave it feels a little uncomfortable in that it drags a bit, it surprisingly delivers really smooth BBS result.

Also changed my opinion about this Semogue brush, although it feels a bit moppy it feels ultra soft when applying cream that's been bowl-lathered; a gentle giant (well almost).

Love this C&E Nomad scent; powerful and fresh, wake-up time!

Wow. That blade is seriously sharp, makes a feather feel blunt. I didn't treat it with the respect it needs! (Thought it would be like a lab blue...)

BBS after 2 passes, burn and weepers on neck though. User error. The limes cream was lovely though, slick and moisturising.
