Razor: Ever Ready 1912
Blade: GEM SS
Brush: shavemac snowman Silvertip
Soap: Cyril R. Salter (Tallow version)*
Bowl: Little Wren Pottery
Post: Thayers witch hazel and Pitralon Classic aftershave

*James AKA @Acer89 very kindly sent me a few soap samples. First out the gate was Cyril R. Salter, the tallow version. Thanks very much James for the very generous samples.

Shave Report: One of the best shaves I've had for a good while.

The soap performed brilliantly on all counts. The scent is a very light Lavender but not sickly sweet like Castle Forbes Lavender.
Easy to lather with plenty of residual slickness, up there with MDC IMHO.
I'm very impressed with this soap and one I'll buy in the future.

The ER 1912 is probably the most efficient razor I own. 3 passes and a couple of minor touch-ups and I was done.
Finished off with Pitralon Classic. Job done, (sonic) BOOM!

Have a good week gents.

Cheers
Rob

Hi Rob, do you know where this Cyril Slater tallow soap can be purchased from? Cheers, Paul.

Razor: Rockwell 6S (#6, #6, #3)
Blade: Gillette Wilkinson Sword (#2)
Brush: Fine Stout Synthetic
Cream: Cyril R Salter Indian Sandalwood
ASL: Armaf Club De Nuit Intense

First shave since Thursday and one I really enjoyed; no issues for the Rockwell on plate 6 for the first two passes and there wasn't much left to do on the third pass.

YaqI 24mm Tuxedo Marble Handle
Vitos Red Extra Super
BBA Pre Shave Oil
Rockwell 6C plate 3
Astra SP (1)
Lynx Dark Temptation Aftershave

After using my 6C on plate 4 with several different blades, I used it tonight on plate 3 with my favourite blade, an Astra SP.
This pairing for me is just right. Not too mild and very smooth.
The BBA Pre Shave Oil did an excellent job of softening the stubble and aided glide.
I find Vitos Super Red very easy to lather with any brush. It takes very little effort at all. I think the 350 gram block I bought would last a lifetime as hardly any is needed to make a good lather.
Two passes later and I'm left with a BBS finish
Lynx Dark Temptation Aftershave to top off my shave and I smell good too.
