That good soap becomes a great soap when decanted into a vintage pot.
I can get away with a three pass shave if going XTG either direction after a WTG initial pass (ATG on the neck). Always found ATG on the cheeks quite challenging.
Also one of my favourite aftershaves, Pitralon, pairs beautifully with P&B's Denali.

That Faena is not a particularly good shaving soap and that the Indian made PII (Trac II) is a singularly unpleasant razor.

That I do bleed, had a couple of nicks and weepers, but applied a syptic stick and addressed them. Also, last shave was a shower shave and Im not there yet after five shaves under my belt.

I learned that my Gillette NEW demands respect. It's my only razor that makes me concentrate during my shave.

That as much as it is great fun to try new things, being daft enough to try and use a new razor, blade, soap and brush and get a great shave was really stupid.
