Yeah you are right but I think I should have actually said....
I wonder if I had brought this first and never joined the TSR forum, if it would have saved me a suitcase load of money because it's full of bloody enablers who are all professional photographers making me buy stuff I just couldn't survive another day unless I had it. Hmmmm ha ha ha
I would have remained in ignorant bliss not knowing the names of the likes of Wolfman or Blackland.

Shaving Recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/Cien Moisture Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Wilkinson Sword Synthetic.
Face Lather.
Lather: Wilkinson Sword shave Stick.
Blade: Treet Dura Sharp (Carbon) blue pack. (D2)
Razor: Parker 22R.

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, /Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Superdrug Sierran Breeze ASL./Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

Greetings,

The Treet Dura Sharp felt super smooth & efficient paired together well with the 22R on it's second outing....I find that some DE blades especially stainless & teflon coated ones start to show their true potential on the second shave.

The WS shave stick is a wonderful shave stick it's surprising how much of a good lather you get from the humble shave stick, especially the older tallow based formula.

I have mentioned before that It's such a shame that they have now been discontinued. I was lucky enough to get a spare before this happened which should hopefully keep me going for some time...Another great humble shaving product gone forever.

A comfortable close shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

Keep safe and enjoy your Sunday ladies & gentlemen.

Thank you to Paul @Blademonkey for loaning me this razor. Im going to be giving it a run to see if the Ti version works for me. He's kindly supplied both the Lite and Standard plates.
That is the last DE razor I intend on buying, in the hope it's as good as my Vector. I hope you give it rave reviews or I might be saving myself a bundle of cash later in the year when the time comes.

Today's theme is Sweet Sunday, I don't have many sweet sets, I tend to find them a little cloying, but seeing as this one has coffee and ice cream involved then I can't say no. It's not quite heavy enough on the coffee for me, but it's still decent.

To accompany that I thought I'd throw together a quick real life version and get that down my neck. Perhaps a little early for that sort of thing but needs must with these themes, delicious and on the plus side it hits the photo treasure hunt 'Sugar & Sweets'.

Hope everyone has a good'un!

Cheers

Marc

Sunday 23 June

Alpha Bandit brass
Gillette 7 o’clock (3x)
Synthetic reknot
Apsley soap by Truefitt & Hill

For some inexplicable reason I was in a bit of rush this morning which is odd as it’s a quiet Sunday morning. The Alpha did try to bite from the off, probably in order to tell me to slow down which I did without loss of blood. I loaded too much water on the brush and it gave a hopelessly sloppy lather which dried quickly and also made me hurry up. Time to throttle back for resumption of normal service and eventually bbs finish was reached after 2 haphazard passes and much pick up action. Phew!

Have a terrific Sunday fellas!

I took the boy out for a run with me and he was ready to go home after 4 miles, so we turned around and ran a little slower back, he was pretty much sprinting when we got to our road and he could see the house.
Pleased to be home was an understatement
Enjoy the awesome weather everyone.
