Razor: Rockwell 6s
Brush: Yaqi Napoli
Bowl: 3D Printed Bowl
Preshave: Proraso Pre-Shave Cream Sensitive Cream
Soap: Proraso Green Puck
Aftershave: Proraso Green Aftershave

Been dreadful at posting recently but felt wrong to not post a Proraso shave while here in Italy! I’m in Policoro which is about an hour from Matera, the town on the last Bond film. It’s not hard to work out why it was chosen as a setting, it’s stunning!

Razor = 1966 Gillette Black Handle Flare Tip Superspeed
Blade = Vintage Schick Super Platinum ( 4 )
Brush = Turn N Shave 26mm Custom Boar Stoat
Soap = Declaration Grooming Mayflower
with matching splash.
Balm = Nivea Sensitive Daily Stubble Lotion.
IMG_2215.jpegAnother cracker 10/10 & loved every minute of it.
This Razor is a birth year and i completely forgot i had another birth year razor.
I knew i had the razor i just forgot it was a 1966.
I wasn’t really a floral type guy until i got in to this type of shaving but now i pretty much take to anything.
The blade on its forth use is still superb so i’ll keep going with it.
Stay Safe Boys n Girls we stay in a crazy world.

Razor - Ever Ready 1914
Blade - Gem #5
Soap Gentleman's Groom Room Red, Red Rose
Brush - PAA Starcraft
Post - TDS Kosmetika Rose lotion & Lea 3in1 Balm
Never used a Rose scented soap before - way nicer than expected and quite a complex scent - chuffed I plumped for it.
The 1914 performed superbly! Don't know why - but I remembered the 1914 to be rougher and lower performing than the 1912 - but this shave changes my view or memory. 3 lovely passes resulted in BBS - no weepers, no drama's. A cracking shave that!
The post shave duo provided a combo of Rose and much needed cooling menthol.
Take care all and enjoy your shaves

A tale of two shaves the first whilst away walking in the Malvern Hills and what a scorcher that was! Truly stunning views for a radius of forty to fifty miles a panorama spanning many English counties and the heart of Wales. The shave was excellent even in the rudimentary toilets of the campsite with no hot water but that was a comfort from the brutal heat.

The second shave was from the comfort of home after a shower shaving first my head then face using the now defunct Mickey Lee Soapworks aquatic scented ‘The Kraken’ which is a great performer. Now sat on the patio in the shade on a beautiful sunny morning having a coffee watching the Swifts dart about catching insects on the wing and a couple of Greater Spotted Woodpecker’s on the peanut feeder, isn’t life sometimes simple but grand?
