I think it was just a name for those marketed in the U.K. as the British seem to have a fetish for Mk I, Mk II, etc., going back to the Snider rifle and continuing with Martini, Lee Enfield, Webley, etc. ;)
You don't want to know about our cars then!, I have a mark 6,and a mark 6.5 Ford Fiesta, and I think the Fiesta's are up to mark 9 now... Only called mk- if you are hunting for parts mind!.

F4 Manky Boy mk2 turned up this morning!,here's a before...

I have popped the bottom crimped plate, and taken the silo door bar out,and god only knows what someone has used on it,but it is covered in a black sticky residue, that scrapes of with a finger nail, the adjuster plate/knob is also sticky, and vague,so fingers crossed, its just this black gunky stuff.....
More pics when it is totally stripped, but before going in the US.....

MB mk2 just got stripped!.

Its now simmering away at 50c,gas mk1,in the US for 50 minutes. It has a healthy dose of 'Fairy Liquid' as a marinade.Just got to remember to turn everything at 25 minutes,or it might cook unevenly.....:D
