S.O.T.D - Saturday 27th September to Friday 3rd October

Pre: Village Barber oil
Cream: TOBS "Jermyn Street"
Brush: Orchid Isles 24mm Silvertip on Curly Koa handle
Razor 1: J.A. Henckels "415" (Father's razor)
Razor 2: Ikon OSS w/SE handle
Blade: Treet Platinum (1)
Post: Thayer's witch hazel, followed by Village Barber balm
First pass WTG with the "415" was a little harsh. Looking at the edge under a 45x loupe shows the edge has a mild serrated appearance. Guess this one is going back to the stone to clean it up. 2 passes with the OSS cleared away the stubble without issues.

Sunday 28th September 2014
Prep: Shower
Razor: Schick 66 G4 Injector
Blade: Personna Plat. Chrome NOS
Brush: Semogue Mistura
Cream: Ingram
Aftershave: Astral Cream (light)
EDT: FKUK Friction

A really nice shave, purchased the Erasmic cream from Savers yesterday and noticed they have redesigned the packaging on the cream and the black tub, the contents are, it states, the same.

Regards
Dick.

whats the fcuk scent like dick? a few years back i used to use a fcuk body spray in a blue tin and i got so many compliments from it. it smelt a lot more sophisticated than youd expect, and id love to find an edt equivalent.

Sunday

Afternoon, all.

Prep: Claus Porto's Lime-oil face soap
Razor: EJ DE89
Blade: Shark SS (2)
Brush: Kabuki Bamboo
Shave soap: Kell's Aloe and Hemp, Energy
Aftershave: Yellow Ginger
Cologne: Rive Gauche Intense

Blimey! What a terrific shave that ended in an unexpected BBS.

Prep: Groomed face scrub
Shaving Soap: Aramis
Brush: Edwin Jagger Chatsworth ebony synthetic bristle
Blade: Shark super chrome
Razor: Edwin Jagger Chatsworth barley chrome
ASB: Toscano black pepper.

This is the first time I've used Aramis. The shaving soap has a citric and woody aroma. It did not lather as well as I expected, and I had to keep reapplying, so I'll see how it goes for the next few days then use something else. Other than that, it was a close shave, leaving my skin mildly moisturised before applying the black pepper balm.
