Cream:: Vitos Super Crema Grated and Bowl Lathered

Hi.

Why did you need to grate the Vitos? It's like putty, so you normally just tear a bit off, press it in a cup or bowl and then use it like a soap.

Ian

Ian M, I know that NOW (Because you have just told me) but as I said it was a very small piece. Early start tomorrow and then 3 days with the travel kit. Might try it again on Monday.

Ahh, I see :) I have the extra coconut version and it's very nice indeed.

Soap from Aleppo - Rooney 1/2 silvertip - Gillette Rocket flare tip - Astra green #2 - Pre JASÖN - Shaving cream Castle Forbes Lavender - Alum block - Thayers Original Aloe - ASB Castle Forbes Lavender - ASL Lavanda by Ach. Brito.

Williams / Luckyu4ever beer and bergamot shaving soap
Henk walnut silvertip
New with Jock Permasharp
Proraso pre/post as post.

Williams produced a light, airy lather that disappears in seconds. Have read mixed reviews on badger and blade. Smells like furniture polish. Might try it again soon but did three separate bowl lathers which turned to face lathers and most of the lather disintegrated before I could draw the blade to my skin.

Prep: Hot shower
Brush: Semogue SOC 2band
Razor: Feather
Soap: LEA stick
AS: Mennen SB
Result: Very, very clean :D

Cheers Magnus, another league than your twins in turtoise, even though a nice blade :D

Professor Blighty's Soap Week Day 4

I have to take a little more care using the wee-beastie Fatip but this was made easier with the Prof's cushiony lather.
I'm trying without Proraso pre-shave for a while to see if there's any difference, not noticed any so far.
Excellent results.

evening shave before nipping out for curry...

Gillette Slim
7 o'clock yellow
NF Tubby1 in super 2 band

Nice smooth shave - with a touch of menthol which gives a 'cool' feel. Will apply some Acqua di Gio aftershave in a while
