parker 91r handle/ fatip
supermax super platinum
muhle silvertip fibre
floris elite shaving soap
rose of bulgaria AS
zino davidoff edt

very nice, close shave. revisisted the floris soap tonight and its great stuff, the muhle synthetic has given my soaps a new lease of life. this brush makes it loads easier to get a good lather, i think ive struggled living in a hard water area but the muhle makes light work of soap.

Vitos Supercrema
Henk walnut silvertip
Rotbart 20 with Supermax Blue Diamond
Original Source balm

Very nice shave. Started with yesterday's Schick but it was blunt halfway through. Very close and smooth but two shaves max.

MONDAY EVENING

Prep: Cold rinse
Cream: Fitjar Shea Pleasure - scuttle lathered
Brush: Simpson Tulip 2
Razor: Ever Ready Streamline
Blade: Gem (3)
Post: Witch hazel, Bulldog balm

Another excellent shave from this combo. No more shaves left in this blade though so it's been binned.

I'm liking the Tulip a lot too. Swapped it for my Emperor (which I also liked) and it's working very well so far.

This morning:

Prep: Cold rinse
Razor: Le Grelot 5/8", in UKRob rosewood scales
Brush: Simpson Tulip T2 in two-band Super
Soap: Taylor's Jermyn Street

Nice.

Prep: village barber oil
Cream: Dr Harris - Eucalyptus
Brush: NF Tubby 1
Razor: 37c Slant
Post: barber balm/ 444

A weeks worth of growth taken down in one pass like it was nothing. It's been so long since I've used it i struggled with the angle going XTG & ATG.

EVENING

Prep: 5k Run
Razor: Stainless Merkur "Digress" (3)
Blade:Rapira SS (1)
Brush: Bodger reknotted with 22mm TGN Best Badger (bulb)

Loving the Digress, 3 days growth gone..... Another smooth, irritation free shave.............

Tuesday:

Cella
NF Tubby 2
Gem Clog-Pruf
Gem blade
Witch Hazel
T&H Trafalgar AS
Penhaligon's Endymion EdC

This morning was the first time I've used both the Cella and the Clog-Pruf for ages, combined they gave an excellent shave. Tubby 2 is excellent!

Tuesday xxiii July, 2013

Prep: Hot shower, Savon de Provence shea butter soap
Pre: Cold water splash
Soap: Prep Sapona da barba
Brush: Frank Shaving Finest Badger Travel Turnback
Razor: Merkur 46C travel razor
Blade: Schick #3
Post: Kiehl's Herbal Astringent, Zirh Post Shave Solution
Fragrance: Penhaligon's Endymion Cologne

Result: First time out with Prep (a little buy when I was in Roma), and excellent lathering qualities. It has a strong menthol scent, but this didn't come through on the chin. All being well my LD Digress will turn up at the hotel today so I can use that tomorrow morning. Nice slow shave with thunder rolling away in the background. Most portentous.

Have a good day.

Jon
