Today I am able to go for the Best Shave
Fume shaving soap
No. 6 brush
7 o'clock New with Sputnik
Original Source balm

Working from home today and pleasantly surprised to get a package of goodies from Best Shave in Turkey. I only ordered it on the 18th! Soap smells OK - inoffensive generic artificial clean smell -and turns easily with this brush into a thick protective lather reminiscent of Arko.
Brush has loads of backbone; it's quite springy and has just a little prickliness. Will no doubt be good with other soaps and it may now come on holiday with me.
I bought 100 Racer stainless and used one with the free Sik Bay razor. Unfortunately I found it a bit scrapey and so switched to the 7 o'clock where it wasn't much better. The Sputnik was excellent; I got an easy and smooth bbs. I need to try the Sputnik in the sik bay.

Prep Hot Flannel
Pre Shea By Nature Shaving Oil
Brush Rubberset 400 with a 26mm 2 band
Cream Cella (arrived today - fantastic stuff!)
Razor Gillette Super Adjustable (acquired from Mr Bean earlier this month)
Blade Feather (1)
After Coral Skin Food - Used daily but the level never goes down - is someone refilling this when I'm not looking?

WTG, XTG and ATG but faster now with the black beauty as it's so forgiving I can increase the speed of the shave - even with a new feather in.

I'm smooth - and have my latte now - all is good with the world

Ratty

Quality shave this morning!

Razor: Muhle R89
Blade: Dorco Platinum
Soap: BEA for men shave stick (WOW!!!)
Brush: Unknown Best badger
Post: Aloe Vera Gel and Nivea Sensitive Balm

I was really surprised at the quality of the BEA shave stick!!! Considering it is meant to be more of a budget stick compared to LEA and La Toja, it created magic lather. The only discernible difference was the scent...just like a bath soap. But it comes in a cool blue holder!

Anyway if any of the Spanish shavers on this forum have any thoughts on this soap compared to the LEA stick I would like to hear them. Muchas Gracias !

This morning:

Prep: Cold rinse
Razor: Joseph Allen 6/8" Extra hollow ground
Brush: Neep #1213 Aztec in malachite (29mm extra silvertip)
Soap: L'Occitane Cade

Interesting... I saw some on sale in Tenerife but bought the LEA instead (the LEA was only 80 cents in any case!) I'd be interested in any views

Holiday shave in Spain

Gillette Tech
Wilkinson blade
Wilkinson boar brush - I've had for about 30 years
La Toja - naturally
RSC balm

Weather a balmy 34 everyday.

Prep: Cold water splash
Soap: MdC
Brush: Shavemac 177 Silvertip
Razor: Weber Polished/Bulldog
Blade: Sputnik (4)
Post: Clinique Post-Shave Healer
EdT: Lalique Hommage a l'Homme

Loving the MdC-Sputnik-Weber combo. Working a treat :)

Prep: Hot shower
Brush: Custom by Chrish in 2band
Razor Erik Anton Berg w custom horn scales
Soap: Nannys French Lavender
AS: Blue Floid (yes, really, this time)
Strops: Neil Miller
Result: Very, very clean :D

I really like this razor, such a nice a flexible grind (most Swedes are harder, just like the men) that remindes me of delicate German grind.
