I guess this qualifies as 'EDC' - new bluetooth headset by TaoTronics ($30 shipped)
Pros:
Good range. Loving being able to leave my phone and walk a good 30m away from it and still it connected to the headset
Seems like good value for money.
Easy to access/use on-headset-band controls incl. mic
Good battery power (the level of which is displayed on the phone as well)
Neutral:
Relatively comfy. I assume a bit of an adjustment period as it's a different fit with those fins.
Cons:
Almost no bass. 'Luckily' for me I intend to have it coupled with my phone where 90% of the time the audio will be either phone calls or podcasts. Also if I had tried the headset with a real DAP w/ some EQ settings maybe the sound would have been better - but since my "DAP" at the moment is a semi-ancient Zune HD (that I love) that's not an option as it doens't even support Bluetooth
I'd give it a strong 7/10 where the deducted points are for lack of bass and slight discomfort in the ears.
