Morning, gents.

Tuesday:

Prep: Claus Porto's Lime-oil face soap
Razor: Schick Injector E3
Blade: Schick Injector (4)
Brush: Ecotools Kabuki
Shave soap: MWF
A/S: Yellow Ginger
Cologne: Black Jeans

Pretty good again. There was no irritation but I nicked my chin again, although the damage didn't last. Got to be so careful with this injector.

TUESDAY MORNING

Prep: Hot shower
Brush: Simpson Wee Scott
Soap: Tabac stick - face lathered
Razor: Gillette New
Blade: Polsilver Super Iridium #1
Post: Witch Hazel, Bulldog balm

Am on a city break to Bristol with my wife so am using my travel kit.

Even though the water here is harder than Devon, still managed to get a decent lather and, as I didn't shave yesterday, had a very comfortable shave.

Now to go out to the local coffee house for breakfast, then off to the museum for the Egyptian exhibition.

Notes: Good 2 pass shave, with some touch up. Razor has a thicker than usual spine and took a great edge.

Prep: Hot shower
Pre: Proraso pre-shave (sensitive)
Soap: MWF (soap of the week)

MWF Week Day 2

Another great lather from MWF. I added about a third of a teaspoon of Bicarbonate of Soda to the basin water to soften it and see if it made a difference (brush and soap soaked in basin water)
I usually get a decent lather from MWF but, like many soaps, the lather starts to thin a little on my face towards the end of each pass. With soda added the lather stayed the same throughout each pass. I'm now thinking maybe the water is harder than I thought. I'm going to experiment with this trick for other shaves.

Slant worked very well with the Treet blade, a nice combination for me.
